Context
Miam Mia Kitchen is a casual fusion restaurant based in Paris, open for two years but still relying entirely on word-of-mouth with no digital presence.
As a solo freelance Product Designer, I was brought in to build their first website from scratch.

The Challenge
The core challenge was translating MiaMia's physical atmosphere into a digital experience, capturing their French and East Asian culinary fusion through a visual language that could only belong to them.
The Approach
To address this challenge, I focused on these key points:
Discovery
Competitor analysis of Parisian restaurants with established online presence
Identification of key user needs for a typical restaurant experience
Define
Two clear objectives: increase visibility + eliminate booking errors
Budget constraint → selected a lightweight, easily integrated booking solution
Design
Low-fidelity wireframes → client validation → high-fidelity screens
UX writing for menus, CTAs, and the full reservation flow
Design
Concept 1 — European Bistro
Concept 2 — Asian-Inspired
Visual Direction & AI-Assisted Illustration
The client had no photos of their restaurant or dishes, so I used Lovart to generate and refine a series of illustrations, bringing warmth and personality to the brand while helping the owner visualise the final product. Every asset was crafted to stay true to Miamia's atmosphere and colour palette.

Reservation system
Since the client had a limited budget, I researched and integrated an open-source booking system directly into the Framer build.

Final Prototype
Designed around MiaMia's atmosphere and brand colours
